CD23 is a 45kDa glycoprotein expressed in B cells activated in the germinal center.The vast majority of low-grade b-cell lymphomas, including CD23 positive in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, CD23 negative in mantle cell lymphoma, and occasionally positive in some r-s cells in Hodgkin's lymphoma.
